6.22.10 - Mike Lewis receives Turnpike Award

6.2.10 - THG principal Stephan Heimburg has been selected as part of Pinellas Transportation Task force.

The task force was formed by Pinellas County Commisioner Karen Seel to review transportation prioritities and funding opportunities.

4.19.10 - Mike Sadeghi joins The Heimburg Group, Inc.

Mike has over 30 years of design experience in both PD&E studies and final design projects. Key projects have included improvements to I-4 and the expressway system in Orlando.

4.9.10 - THG was selected as part of the PBSJ Team for the final design of improvements to the SR 60/ I-275 interchange.

THG previously completed conceptual design work, which led to several modifications of ultimate improvements, as well as a plan for the first stage of improvement.

4.9.10 - FDOT breaks ground on I-4/ Lee Roy Selmon Crosstown Connector.

This event culminates almost ten years of participation in the project by THG principals Lisa and Stephan Heimburg. Key activities have included assisting the FDOT with Concept Development, Program Management, and preparation of the Financial Plan that allowed the project to be funded by stimulus funds.

3.24.10 -THG starts work on Fort Hamer Bridge Design.

THG was recently given notice to proceed for roadway design work for a new bridge crossing of the Manatee River in Manatee County. Prime consultant, URS Corporation, Southern will provide bridge design and environmental permitting of this new crossing, which will provide capacity over the Manatee River.

2.8.10 - THG completed traffic control design work in support of a URS design for Dames Pt. Bridge repairs.

The bridge supports SR 9A, over the St Johns River in Duval County. Construction is scheduled to start later on this year.
