Ms. Heimburg has 23 years of engineering and design experience.  Key roles include Design Engineer, Project Engineer, Engineer Manager for PD&E Studies, Group Manager and Project Manager.  During her career she has specialized in Roadway Design and PD&E Studies for urban and rural projects requiring major reconstruction as well as preliminary design of controlled access facilities including interstate highways.  

Most recently, she has been responsible for coordinating the engineering aspects of PD&E Studies to develop unique solutions to non-standard design issues, such as conflicts between criteria, constraints and project budgets. Her expertise includes roadway design and planning, corridor analysis, preliminary engineering, alternative impact analyses, engineering documentation, and recommendations regarding needed improvements to existing facilities.
