Mr. Heimburg has over 25 years of engineering and design experience. Key project roles include Project Engineer, Team Leader. Engineer of Record, Design Group Manager, Project Manager, and Project Principal. Key de sign experience has included roadway, drainage, and traffic control design for minor roadways, as well as arterial highways, and controlled access facilities.
Each of these roles has contributed to his ability to design, manage, and direct engineering studies and roadway design plans. As Project Engineer and Engineer of Record, Mr. Heimburg gained the experience of a project professional. As Team Leader, and Group Manager, he developed skills to develop unique solutions to non-standard design issues, such as conflicts between criteria, constraints and project budgets. As Project Manager and Project Principal, his skills were further developed to develop “big picture” solutions, as well as the needed focus on engineering supervision, such that he had the ability to step-in as roadway engineer of record, if needed.
